Introduction: StackSource

Hi everyone,

Pretty new to WSO, have now spent a little bit of time as a lurker so I figured I'd introduce myself.

I studied finance undergrad, and interned in both real estate and finance before starting off my career in ad tech (Google, later Facebook). I got into real estate finance from a tech angle last year, founding StackSource, an online platform for commercial real estate loans. We recently received some press for becoming a finalist in both a major fintech competition and the top global real estate tech competition.

We're early-stage so I'm not quite ready to hire employees with real estate finance backgrounds quite yet, except we're keeping the door open for a great senior-level Head of BD (I can't post links since I'm new so Google "StackSource Head of Business Development").

Our new Marketplace for finding a commercial lender for your deal officially launched a few weeks ago, available through our website (click "Get a Loan"). Submitting your loan request and getting matched to lenders is free, no fees even at closing. For those that want full-service including underwriting support, negotiation, and wider reach to lenders, you can upgrade to one of our mortgage broker partners. We recommend trying out the free marketplace first and then deciding.

One other way to get involved is through our Fundable campaign (but time is running out because our angel round is >50% completed). Ask me for the link if interested and I can share over PM.

Sorry for the long post, but thought some here might be interested in a relevant fintech play for commercial real estate!
