Invest like the Street
Has anyone heard of Invest like the Street before? If so, what are your opinions on it?
I am interested in it, but it seems somewhat sketchy at times, and I would appreciate some input.

What The Hell Is MCIA Capital Group? Modeling Program Scam, Or Am I An Idiot?
Mentioned here FWIW (sorry if I didn't link thread properly -- first time doing it).
I know of many people who have completed the program. Some say it helped them learn how to do models and what not, others say it was a waste of time. I'm sure it does show some initiative though and would look ok on a resume and gives you something to talk about. Probably more for someone in first or 2nd year of school.
...
Just curious, does that actually work?
I myself have never actually tried it - obviously it'll get through the resume screener but a lot of firms have "auto-fills" on the website where it'll automatically pull data from the resume and input it into your school or experience, so probably it's just a gimmick you're better off avoiding
It's completely overpriced for what it offers. You can take a look on LinkedIn for everyone who lists "Invest Like The Street" for their professional experience and see where they ended up.
You would be better off spending your money on the BIWS or WSO financial modeling courses, and the M&I 400 questions guide
Every single person I looked at who went through the program covered the exact same company lmao
What company? Lol
Hey guys, so I’ve purchased the Invest Like The Street Analyst Program, but haven’t started it yet because I was busy with school and work. I’ve decided that I do not want to pursue a career with anything that the course teaches.
Because of this, I’m offering to sell this course to someone that could benefit from completing it, which would increase their chances of landing their dream internship/dream job.
The course has not been started yet. I’ve erased my name from all things associated with the course, so you can input your name under the user of the course.
It has great reviews, and goes over essential topics for anyone looking to get a job in financial services. Heavy financial modeling, which is great. It counts as experience too, so you can put it on your resume, and will make you stand out from other candidates that don’t have this experience.
The original price of this course is $1,000. But I’m offering $600. Would anyone like to buy this off me?
Hi David, I am thinking of doing this and I have been accepted and offered a position. I would love to possibly buy this off of you. Can you give me a direct message?
