JP Morgan Global Treasury Management Offer Advice

I'm a rising junior and recently received an offer for a summer 2019 internship in JP Morgan's Global Treasury Management program in the Corporate Investment Bank and had a few questions. What can people tell me about:

  1. The day to day work. I understand it varies widely but any information is appreciated.

  2. The career paths people take from there and exit opportunities.

  3. The work-life balance.

Any and all other information about JP Morgan Global Treasury Management would be appreciated

Bump! Would also add that I accepted an offer for the GTM SA like a week ago. I would say that the work life balance is good and the exit ops can be with Consulting and less so with General IB. Other than that I would like to learn more as well.

As long as you have a GPA higher than 3.2 you are eligible. But I would say GTM is kind of more geared toward target schools but you can still get in through networking or diversity recruiting. (I am from a Non target)

No more diversity recruiting for 2019 exception for those who are part of organizations. I would say try the general application. The hirevue question is the same as the IB one. You go from Hirevue to phone interview to superday.

does recruiting usually happen a year before for these positions? im a rising sophomore now but I wanted to try my luck for 2020 and I was wondering If I have to apply during the 2019 spring time

The recruiting for 2020 will start in February 2019. I would say if you identify as a diverse student. Apply to diversity programs you have more chance to get an offer from them than in the general application. Also there is still some sophomore programs open (Bank of America or Morgan Stanley). But if you are interested in treasury, 2020 would be the right time to apply.
