Hi, so I am graduating and choosing between JPM IBD, Goldman PWM, and Goldman Credit Research thoughts? In terms of exit opportunities, name brand (is the JPM brand really that different from the Goldman brand??), and possibly compensations?

You would be a fool not to take JPM IBD

Burn the letters from GS and CS, and then go take a vacation until you get ball-and-chained to your desk at JPM.

JPM, hard to believe this is even a question. GS brand isn't the be all and end all

Congrats on the offer mate! Well done.

Which exit opportunities do you have in mind?
For the PE/HF route definitely JPM IBD but maybe you have something else in mind.

What's wrong with research?

I'd take GS Credit Research.

The HBS guys have MAD SWAGGER. They frequently wear their class jackets to boston bars, strutting and acting like they own the joint. They just ooze success, confidence, swagger, basically attributes of alpha males.

They're all completely different. How do you get these offers when you can't even make the distinctions?

JPM IBD, but that's just my opinion. What do you want to do long-term? What are you most interested in?
