JP Morgan PWM Pay

Can anybody shed some light on what the pay is like for the Investor Associate and Investor (VP) roles at JP Morgan PWM? What kind of salary can one expect to make in both the associate and Investor role and what is the bonus pay like for each? I've heard Investors can make $500K + on some desks and I'm wondering if this is normal or just a really good year? Or can the pay be even higher?

I was curious about the pay on the backend side of things too. I looked it up on Glassdoor and it seems to max out at around ~80k, but I've always questioned the accuracy of the site. I'm interning at a small PWM shop, and it seems to be very laid back and not nearly as demanding or tumultuous as IB.

glassdoor lol...

wealth managers can make anywhere from 50k a year to 5mm+. Depends on your connections and book of clients. Most people with huge books don't start in it though. The financial analysts get paid very little and do menial work for the team. You only advance when you have someone willing to give you a client, which may take years

It's my understanding that JPM PWM pay is base salary + bonus and bonuses are based on how the overall team or desk does. I'm just trying to get a feel for how much one can make as you move up the ranks from Associate to VP to MD, etc.

It's my understanding that the way their business model is structured you have the Bankers who are responsible for bringing in new relationships while the Investors are responsible for making portoflio decisions, asset allocations, talking to clients about the different investment options, etc. It's more of a "team" approach as opposed to a bunch of individuals trying to build their own books of business and managing them.
