Would appreciate any insight regarding a potential role I'm interviewing for at. It's a client advisor focusing on middle tier ($120mm- 1bln) accounts. My understanding is they're the point person regarding both potential new products and disseminating current account performance. So it's both a client servicing role as well as new biz development.
Anyone have experience in this area? Wondering how challenging a role it is and what potential progression there is.
I'm a fixed income sell side guy in early 30's hoping to land something in AM but finding actual security analyst or jr. PM jobs impossible to find or get a look at given my sell side background. Just passed CFA level II but that's not really opening many doors.
