Does anyone know if TR or DealLogic or anyone else posts league table results by industry? I've seen Thompson Reuters results break down total activity by industry, but I want to see which firms excel in which industries. Specifically I'm looking for who kills it in the retail/consumer products space, if anyone has any good information.

Yeah the FT stuff is helpful, but what I'm really looking for is something that will show strengths of different banks by sector, which it doesn't look like this shows.

Hey all - this is probably a stupid question, but I'm pretty uninformed about these things. Where can I find rankings by number of deals/deal volume of specific groups across banks? Like if I wanted to compare BAML's CRG group versus GS's... is there an easy way that I can find that info? Thanks
I should add that I'd prefer a free service versus a paid one, if at all possible.

It's hard to get industry coverage tables. Its easier to find product, such as M&A, debt, equity, and lev fin.

As a professional in the C&R groups at one of these banks, I think consensus is that the top bulge bracket C&R groups on the street are JPM, BAML and GS (not in any particular order). Top boutique guys are Centerview and Peter J Solomon. Barclays is pretty good as well although for some reason they are not as high up in the league tables as they should be.
