"Local partner" to the big firms any good?
So, I've recently started an internship at a local partner for one of the big players in CRE (think BS/Carlyle/Brookfield) that acts as an asset manager/investment manager to a fund in a market where the big player doesn't have any experience or an office. I enjoy it and I feel like there's room to eventually get an offer and grow withing the company.
(I'm an undergrad with a BSc in Real Estate and Finance)
I'm just curious of your thought on these kinds of firms.
Is this a good option to get my foot inside the CRE industry or should I try to go to the owner side?
Located in Sweden, so the market isn't that big but there are opportunities if you look.
