Pathways to PWM as a new UG student in London?

What exactly should I be doing, or what should I be looking for during my UG degree?

I’ve just started studying Accounting and Finance at Queen Mary University of London, which seems to be recognised as a non-target, so I’ll have to network extensively.

So:

Who should I be networking with?

  • What kinds of people, which firms,

How can I improve/build my sales skills and become more personable/social, both of which PWM needs?

  • Slightly more introverted than extroverted, but I’ve got time to work on that. A client-facing FO role is very exciting, but I don’t know where to start on learning how to sell, and becoming more approachable and communicable,

Which BBs/EBs are the best for PWM in London?

  • In regards to pay, placement, prestige, exit opps, etc,

What about a Masters or an MBA at a target? Or should I just stick to spring weeks, internships, and heavy networking?

  • for example, doing a Masters at a target (Oxbridge, LBS, LSE),

Thank you in advance for any and all responses, all of them are greatly appreciated!
