Looking to pivot government internship experience into an entry level IB, management consulting role
I'm a current senior at a NESCAC school studying government and economics. I have extensive experience in the public sector with lobbying and executive branch internships the past two summers. However, I'm now looking for entry level positions in finance, ideally in public finance IB or management consulting. Had a little success in the initial recruiting cycle (got some interviews, one super day) but came up short. I've been networking like crazy but I'm struggling to seal the deal and land an offer. Took a Wall Street Prep course to demonstrate interest in the field too. How can I best position myself to pivot career paths?
