MBA SDA Bocconi

Dear all,

I am considering the option to apply to the SDA Bocconi's MBA for the September '19 intake. What I want to understand is what are the chances to get an intenship and then a full time role in Investment Banking after it.

I am currently working in a tier 1 American bank, in UAE since Sept '16 in the wealth management department, mainly in FX sales. Before moving to the UAE I did a 6 months internship in Corporare Finance in a major automotive company and another 6 months intenship in Risk Management in another American bank.

I hold a bachelor in Economics, and a Master in Management from a top 20 European Business School.

I did not manage to break into IB after my master even though I reached the final round of interviews with a few banks in Paris and London, and when I got the Graduate Program in wealth offer in UAE I accepted it even though it would not have been my first choice. Now I am considering to work here one more year in orther to save some more money, prepare the GMAT and apply for MBA.

Do you guys think SDA Bocconi is a good option to break into IB at Associate level? I also speak Italian fluently, so I would be targeting London and Milan as locations.

Any advice would be highly appreciated.

Cheers G
