MiM vs MA in Econ vs MA in Stat. for general business roles/consulting, which has greatest employment range
Liberal arts major with no business experience looking to break into general business roles/consulting. I'm trying to choose the degree with the most employment flexibility and to be competitive for the management /marketing/other internships at F500 places like GE, etc. I'm only competitive for a second-tier MiM, or MAs from state schools. The MiM is one year, the MAs two. One year means I can be employed faster, but I'm not sure if I can rack up enough internships that quickly. Two years means nothing but student debt for a while, but more time to improve resume.
If I'm not sure I absolutely want to head down the business/consulting road, which masters has the greatest range?
Any other MA that might be better? Applied math? Marketing? MSF?
