Mizuho Securities IBD vs Houlihan Lokey FAS vs Raymond James IBD vs DC Advisory

Help! Have a week decide between a handful of these places, which should I pursue? Anyone have any insight into Mizuho securities, HL FAS, and DC Advisory based on exits, culture?

Depends what you want to do. The only places you'll do real M&A work would be DCA and Raymond James, so if you want to go PE then Raymond James might be the best option. Mizuho IBD doesn't do any M&A (from what I've heard) so I'd go:

1: Raymond James

2: DCA

3: HL FAS

4: Mizuho

You'd work on much more interesting deals at HL than Mizuho, but you still wont get to see a full transaction process like you would at the other 2 shops.

Agree with the above. 1.RJ

Would switch HL with DCS. 4. Mizuho.

Which did you pick? I also have a toss up between HL FAS and RJ IBD - offers in both - what are the pros/cons of each?
