Most important commodities and Mediterranean cities for physical trading?

I'm currently an Associate at an M&A boutique in London doing some research about breaking into physical trading. I'm getting pretty tired of the shitty London weather, so I want to move to a Mediterranean beach city. Weather and quality of the beaches is very important for me.

What are the biggest Mediterranean beach cities/ports for physical commodities trading?

So far I'm finding Barcelona and Genoa are two main ones. Any others?

What commodities do these cities specialize in? Ease of breaking into each?

Doing some more research. Looks like other Mediterranean port cities to add to the list are Marsailles, Valencia, and Athens.

Oil / energy seems to be the leading commodity for Marsailles. Valencia more about container shipping.

Is it uncommon to have physical trading operations in Mediterranean cities? Most of the big dogs (trafigura, glencore, Vitol, etc.) don't really have trading offices along the Med coast.

Further info I got from other finance boards in case anyone is interested:

Ports : Marseille, Trieste, Istanbul, Athens, Port Said, Tanger, Algesiras, Valencia, La Valletta.

Place on the coast to trade( fiscally ): Gibraltar, Monaco, La Valletta, Nicosia, Monaco
