Networking from IB into HF

Been having some trouble getting interviews lately (get shown lots of opportunities from HH but these never turn into interviews), so wanted to see if people had advice on networking for HF from IB and any differences with HF.

For context, I went to a non-target and work at an EB. The type of HF I'm trying to break into typically takes 2+2s, with the few that hire from banking typically taking gold plated resumes.
