Non-traditional Student

My background:
I'm 27 years old and next year ill be applying for transfer to Berkeley has, hopefully with my 4.0 still intact.
Instead of going to school right away, at 19 I began training martial arts, eventually traveling the country competing before landing the dream job as a full-time instructor for the headquarters of BJJ's largest organization. While I still teach full-time (along w ft school) I now manage the facility and act as it's franchise consultant.
Martial Arts has turned me into a day-in, day-out grinder, and I want to take my talents to investment banking.
On top of work/school I am 2/3 the way through the excel courses necessary to get a certificate and test for the expert level exam, which I plan to complete before transferring.
I'm working on gathering as many contacts I have related to Investment banking in order to somehow leverage my way into an internship when the time comes.
Can anyone offer up some advice for a non-traditional student who is heading down the traditional (target school, internship searching) path?

as far as advice, you're making the right move by transferring to a target school - don't worry about your age and don't even mention it (illegal to even ask :-)

If anyone else has any advice, or as Cash has done, can offer some time to work with me personally, whether by email or even a phone interview, this would be worth more to me than gold.
To elaborate on my situation, as I said above, I currently work the dream job, but I have reached the ceiling for martial arts pay scales. That said, the decision to move into IB has very little to do with money. I see a potential analyst position at a BB as the fastest way to learn finance, an industry that has peaked my interest for some time now and has given me that giddy feeling of being a white belt all over again.
