NY S&T or Boston IB Boutique

I have two offers, one with (Citi, UBS, Keybanc) in their S&T division and another offer at a Boutique advisory firm focused on biotech. I know that both places will have almost guaranteed return offers, provided nothing goes wrong, but which should I choose for the better exit opportunities. How long do people typically stay in S&T, I am leaning towards that because I don't want to re-recruit into a better IB firm during my senior year. Thanks

I agree with this guy about keybanc lmao. Otherwise the s&t vs Ib is the main evaluation you need to decide on your own. Great dilemma but in terms of career safety the place you pick and location could help you go either s&t or Ib full time when recruiting if it’s a tier 1 city and name brand firm. I know lots of buddies who did s&t bb and went ib full time after or vice versa.

yea i havent heard great things about key but everyone I've spoken to has been super cool and its a small group of iterns with almost guaranteed return offers, seems pretty wroth it if I don't want to put in a lot more work but idk I understand its prolly shit

I’ll give an update from my last comment. I just saw someone who worked at key as an analyst in s&t get promoted to associate today. She graduated in 2020. Could be cause she’s a girl but even still that’s really fucking fast but it’s also s&t and I wouldn’t think that would happen at a bigger place. Maybe if you’re a hustler it’s the move haha. A little over a year into an associate role is special never the less.
