PwC Management Consulting or JP Morgan

Hi everyone,

To preface, I've been recruiting for both consulting and finance internships because I'm interested in both industries equally as much.

I recently received summer internship offers from PwC Management Consulting (Deals Practice) and JP Morgan's Corporate Client Banking group (Entertainment), both out of Los Angeles. Pay is identical and hours will probably be very similar.

From my understanding, PwC will be a lot of M&A advisory and execution, while JPM's CCB is a hybrid group between the commercial bank and IBD, so I'd get exposure to treasury services, cash management, LevFin, equity capital markets etc but with better hours than straight IBD. The downside is that Corporate Client Banking is housed under the commercial bank and not IBD.

I'm still unsure of whether I want to pursue finance or consulting after graduating, and I could see myself going either way. At this point, I'm looking to see which will provide the best overall experience and best/most flexible exit opps.

Any insight into the two groups? I appreciate any advice you have! Thanks!
