Relationship Manager - Commercial Bank vs Private Bank
What do you think has more long-term job security and income potential? Being a Relationship Manager as a Commercial Banker or Private Banker? Seems like everyone is trying to be a Financial Advisor these days. Building a book of business is going to take time for either, but the personal side I believe has a better chance of income potential. You can also spin off and start your own practice, which you really can't do on the commercial side. Thoughts on what people have experienced? What are the typical roles people go to after Commercial Banking? Thanks!
