Should I ask a search firm to reimburse my plane ticket
Hi,
I'm in France right now and a search firm asked me to fly to London to do interviews for two different companies. Considering the date of the interviews I will have to travel twice. The search firm has never mentionned any reimbursement for travel expenses. Last time I had to came I paid out of my pocket because I was to shy to ask.
Is it a standard thing to ask for reimbursement? Or should I pay or this all by myself?
Pretty standard in the US for the firm or company to pay for airfare.
Unless you're desperate for these jobs (or they're a significant upgrade) I would ask for and expect airfare coverage from one of the parties.
