Sophomore IB internship interview prep
I am a rising sophomore currently working at a PE firm in NYC, and just received a return offer. However, my main goal for my sophomore summer is an investment banking internship, and I have applied to pretty much every sophomore program I can find, though most are diversity (I'm non diversity). I'm wondering if any interviews I may get will be just as technically advanced as junior interviews, or what the best way to prepare for a sophomore interview is.
Why is your goal IB?
MS or Goldman, I have pretty strong connections there as well
But I know it's extremely tough to get sophomore programs being non-diversity
If you PM me, I can ask you some common IB technicals and behaviorals that I've come across in interviews and we can see how you do
It’s not that I don’t know the usual questions, I’m wondering how in depth a sophomore interview would be as opposed to junior.
To be honest, I'm not sure why they would go easier on a sophomore if they're required to do the same work as juniors. Again, feel free to PM and we can see how you might do in an interview, I can ask some unique questions and see if you get tripped up
Could you PM me?
My question is why IB vs PE though?
