Thoughts on RBS Debt Capital Markets?

I've been extended an offer to join RBS as a debt capital markets analyst. Anyone have insight to culture, prestige, bonus, work load? I'm hoping to use the experience to move into their HY or LevFin groups, maybe credit funds down the line. Slightly concerned about the fact that the bank is over 80% owned by the U.K. government, and I've heard that bonuses have been low/deferred in the past. Not to mention that the HQ is in Stamford, CT now (~ 1 hr from NYC). Thoughts on the outlook would be much appreciated.

got any other offers? if not, take it and look to dominate for laterals.
