Top 3 Consulting Or Government Contractor

I am from the MD/DC area and worked for a top IB within operations for a year. Recently I was laid off due to operational changes within the firm. I applied to various positions around that suited my skills and landed a finance position at a top defense contracting firm. Great position with good salary (considering the area and my experience).

Consulting has always been my dream and something I would like to pursue now and after my MBA in a couple years. Before I had received the offer from the defense contracting firm I had applied to a temp position to a top 3 consulting. Today, I received the offer for the temp role. Please note, temp role will not be extended into full-time as they have made that clear.

In-short:
Accepted defense contracting firm offer with start date of end of July.
Received temp-role offer from top 3 consulting starting mid-July with relocation out of state.

It is down to personal decision, but what would you do?
Would you burn your relation with the defense firm and take the temp role and be in job market again or reject temp role and stay with government contracting?

Salary is not an issue for me for both roles.
