Villanova MSF
Thoughts on Villanova MSF round 3/4 acceptance difficulty? Have a 3.4 GPA from a good northeast school (not ivy). Haven’t taken GMAT yet but say 650 worst case. Two years of valuation experience at consulting firm. Anybody familiar with the program and have advice? Worth waiting til round 1 of next year, apply, or try to increase gmat?
You'll get in. I got a 50% scholarship and fellowship with a 3.4, lower test scores, and several IB internships. I ended up choosing another program though but really enjoyed everyone I spoke with at Villanova.
Thanks for the info...Was the scholarship part of the fellowship or something else
I don't completely remember which is kind of embaressing considering all of this happened recently.
IIRC I got the 50% scholarship first and know that I had to write essays to get my fellowship separately (got the half fellowship which would have paid me a salary of like $9k total for the year for 10 hours of work per week for the length of the program).
Applied late there too, and got same scholarships as the person above. You'll get in, it seems like a decent program and everyone I spoke to was really nice and professional.
Nice thanks for the info...did you end up there? What were your stats to get the scholarship?
Ended up going to Vandy instead. Had a 3.9 GPA from non-target, and did not take the GMAT. Few prior internships in finance and 1 in IB specifically.
What kind of valuation? If you have experience then why an MSF?
...
I see, I'm doing my MSF as well and have an offer for Big 4 RFA bval as an analyst
