Wedding mid Summer Internship

I'm starting a virtual summer internship in M&A at a BB in London. I've been invited to a wedding which is halfway through the internship, its during the weekend. Do you think I'd be able to go without being noticed by the team? Are interns expected to work during the weekend?

So, I'm really not familiar with this whole virtual situation but normally you definitely have to be on call during the summer. One of the advantages of work from home is that you can literally tell you analysts to take give you a couple hours off on the weekend during the wedding. This really shouldn't be a problem especially with deal flow slowed down. Whatever you do, make sure to tell your staffer because if something does come up, you would be fucked.
