I've seen their FAP position, and it usually leads to at least bigger MM deals. No retail, consumer or business banking...with that being said, I doubt it will look glamorous to top grad schools. It seems there is a stereotype of people in MM, that try to break into corporate later on. I would imagine its worse if trying to get into LevFin. That's strictly my opinion though.

I had a final round for the FAP position recently. When you heard back, was it from the group? And how long did it take?

Not sure how many people in litigation consulting go to MBA, I think people go onto PhD programs. It's a very niche field. That being said, exit opps are definitely legit, I have a friend who was in litigation consulting (one of the top 3) and is now doing analytic work for Google. I think she mentioned that the SMR's are all PhD's, but not sure.

Thanks, itsinthebag! I'm not sure how I feel about that. I would rather get an MBA than a PhD for sure. Do you know how likely it is to follow the path to Google/other tech companies from consulting?

Just talked to my friend and a bunch of her co-wokers went back for an MBA, so looks like you can do either, as long as you don't want to pursue a full-time career in lit. consulting. If you want to make it a full-time career, then pursue PhD route
