What kind of a bonus should I expect

Just wondering if anybody can give some insight. I'm not in IB but I am a Capital Markets Analyst for a regional bank. It is my first year. Anybody know what kind of bonus I should expect? I can't imagine it would be like the bonuses I see discussed on here for like S&T, etc. But should I expect more than a "pat on the back" raise of like $2-3k? For context my small group made like $10MM last year in a record year and we made close to $15MM this year.

Don't get your hopes up and expect anything at a regional bank. If you want a number, I'd estimate a $1,000 gross "bonus" and a 3-5% raise. As a disclaimer, I am not and have not ever been a capital markets analyst. I'd be interested to hear what actually happens for you.

I'll update when I find out. I honestly didn't even ask about the bonus process because I wasn't expecting anything from a regional bank. But because our group is so variable and we crushed our record I was curious if people thought I might get something significant. I think I find out sometime in Feb.

not to be the bearer of bad news, but you should've received a target range or negotiated one prior to accepting. i'd expect no bonus or maybe an immaterial amount since it's not in your contract. hopefully your company will prove otherwise

Just got a notice that I am getting about 6.5% (4.5% bonus plus a 2% bonus to my 401k contribution) - but it is all based on company-wide performance. I'm holding out that there is something based on individual/group performance as well.
