Why I have decided to SHORT AMZN stock using all of my LIFE SAVINGS

I just finished READING this article and it really made me think about the current FIGHTTOTHEDEATH between Amazon and Walmart. Ultimately, however, with the ACQUISITION of Whole Foods, I realized the TRUTH. A rotisserie chicken costs $14 at Whole Foods which is a RIPOFF because Walmart has rotiss for only $5, which is an INCREDIBLE BARGAIN. Amazon is a yuuuge SCAM because they DO NOT currently offer ROTISSERIE CHICKEN on their website. They should already be DELIVERING rotisserie chicken with DRONES, but no, instead they're working on useless shit like the AMAZON ECHO. For that reason, I realized that in the long-term, AMZN will go DOWN THE TUBES, while WMT will become the first TRILLION DOLLAR COMPANY. I am now SHORTING the heck out of AMZN, I predict their retail locations will CLOSE DOWN and they will go BANKRUPT.

if you purchase food at Walmart o__o you're taking a leap of faith -- that being said I have and it's probably poisonous and as bland as reading the wall street journal. If it's concerning the rotisserie chicken, a once staple in the life of a poor summer analyst (myself) over the course of 3 internships then you should go long on safeway because they sell rotisserie chickens for 7-8 a pop and the quality is great -- if you buy it anywhere else you're really taking a bath. In fact i had one every single day and packed on 15lbs of some lean muscle. If you're looking for a catalyst for Walmart you should ask a guy who grew up meagerly such as myself and the reason is that Walmart can self-sustain in any poor town in the U.S. They provide the jobs to the poor individuals and being the only half decent place to shop at and at the lowest prices in the poor area the salary they provide goes straight back into their products b00m.

What concert costs 45 cents? 50 Cent feat. Nickelback.

Yeah no one really cares about WMT anymore. He's clearly a short (who's secretly long).

I love the QUALITY and FRESHNESS of the food at Walmart. GOURMET, TOP-NOTCH stuff really.

Wal-Mart just sucks because you have too many people - usually obese people - blocking aisles and it's really tough to power walk in that environment. And I've had to wait 15+ minutes multiple times when going to the sporting goods section to get ammo.

Target is where it's at. There are milfs galore at Target.

OK, well good luck with that. Shorts are clueless (we know you're secretly long). And in time you'll learn never to short stocks. Bears are just a broken clock theory at best. Always have been always will be. This is literally the dumbest post I've ever read. No one cares about the chicken. $14 is way too cheap anyway (you know that).

I've heard this drama from shorts for years on end. Broken clock theory at best!

[Serious post] LMAO. Shorts are definitely NOT clueless, you just have to do your research and find your niche. Sure, it's a bull market at the moment, but I made an absolutely ludicrous amount of money as result of shorting Greek dry shipping companies (including DRYS) earlier this year. In fact, I've actually made more money this year (mostly due to my short positions) than in all of my previous years of investing combined. However, I would DEFINITELY not short in certain sectors unless they are a total anomaly, shorting NASDAQ tech stocks like TSLA or NFLX would be dumb AF.

Yes you're right. Shorting most small cap biotech/biopharm/pharma companies is essentially an ATM machine...plus penny stocks, yes, short them all day. But shorts are still relatively clueless (and greedy AF), come on, do people really feel bad for the KBIO guy who lost his home and savings? I mean really. Who does that (overnight too). Bear market? LoL yeah sure...you're stuck in 2015. Bear market was 1.5 years ago. The ATH's are the dips now.

[Serious post] Lol, way too sleep deprived here, meant to say bull market of course. Shorting without knowing what you're doing is just plain stupid. Penny stocks are great for shorting if you know what you're doing, but because I'm not a day trader and can't really time them perfectly I don't play around with them much.

People have been shorting great stocks inception. Probably prop shop morons and hedge funds (we know they're not the brightest of the bunch, besides RenTec) Nothing warms my heart more than seeing a short get burned, to the tune of the largest Margin Call of his/her lifetime.

It's just hard to take you seriously when you feel a need to rely on a ton of capitalized words. If you had worthwhile things to say to intelligent people, the words would be enough. Whether you're right or not about AMZN declining, WMT doesn't seem like a likely choice for the first big T. The brick and mortar side of retail isn't doing amazingly well.

Friendly advice bud - @Angel Molester" is a known comedic element around these parts. Don't take him too seriously.

Idk I feel like you could short anything with the right timing. Find a good or bad stock doesn't mean you will make or lose money. Its all about how you enter and exit the position.
