NYC - Are companies still doing pre-employment marijuana test?
Hello fellow monkeys,
As you may know, recently it become law in NYC that the companies won't be allowed anymore to test prospective employees for weed in pre-employment drug screening. YES, I know it will be in effect only in May 2020, but my question is - are the companies still testing for it, or are they already adapting after 4 months that the law passed? Can you please share your anecdotal experience if you had a drug screening recently?
Also, if they are still doing it - what are the chances of having a hair test over a regular urine test?
It would be kind of BIZARRE to bar a candidate now that the law has already been approved, wouldn't it?
