Used this service ~3 years ago and was matched up with a guy @ a HF who went back and forth with me a couple times on the updated resume. I think this is one of my least favorite things to do - talking about myself/current job... so having someone in the space review/help out was a huge plus and well worth the $. I ended up moving to a FO role - and while I don't think my updated resume really played a huge factor, I was confident that it was "up to snuff" vs other candidates with "more pedigree" and was one less thing to worry about during the process. I'll be using it again in the future for sure.

It really delivers what I expected and my mentor has so much knowledge in the industry. Even though I had my sessions over Skype, I think it's worth every penny.

I have bought the course in order to cover all the basics just before mine internship in R&Co. In my opinion the course has covered all the topics I needed to start my journey in the industry and prepared me to make a good impresion as an Intern since first day in the office. I had no strong financial background and still I was able to understand all the topics because the course was well organized and everything was explained. I have already recommended the course to some of my friends and I do not regret spending money on it. I was converted to a full time analyst after 3 months and I think that the course help me a lot to achieve it.

Very well structured mock interview with clear feedback and insights after each question. Good advice on how to stay poised and in control, which helped me be concise and structured with my answers. Very impressed with the format.

I'll be honest, WSO was by far the most helpful "mentor" I had throughout my IB recruitment process. The anonymity and community which the site has developed is second to none in the finance community and is the best source of gossip / relevant news in our circle (outside of maybe Litquidity). Keep doing what you're doing and keep to your principles because as of now you are the backbone of the young IB community. A few important topics from my perspective:
- Please, please, please do not add systems of identification (i.e. names, profile pictures) as this would kill the honesty currently provided on the site
- Salary information is somewhat weak, maybe provide folks with an incentive to give accurate salary information (while weeding out the outdated salaries)

After a friend of mine bought a few properties in Eastern Europe, I became more interested in real estate, and the possibility of diversifying my portfolio. This course offers a great foundation for understanding the financials of real estate investing, and modeling possible returns on multifamily acquisitions, commercial space, or even office spaces.

This was a very hands on approach to an LBO. Definitely worth it if you are planning to move to a PE role. I very much like the professional experience of the teacher and the way the course is paced is perfect for somebody who has no experience in LBOs to understand and learn all the necessary information and tips to impress your manager.

WSO compiles lots of helpful information in an easy to access place. It’s nice that it’s by users, for users. Only thing I’d suggest is making salary information more accessible—I had to jump through hoops just to view the estimated salary for one position. The interview prep materials, exit opportunity discussions, and dozens of other forums, are incredibly helpful.
