Overall being very helpful along my career from a non-target student, BB IBD internship, BB IBD FT and now a HF analyst.

Area of improvement: 1/ geographic diversity (EU and APAC); 2/ already pretty successful in BB IBD intern/FT space, but still alot process can be done in the HF, esp elite HF space.

Probably one of the best resources to get vetted information on breaking into IB/PE and other associated questions about career. Could have been better if it some people from the target audience focused on non-IB careers as well. You will find the usual folks just dissing out random topics. But the sheer breadth and width of first-hand knowledge some users are ready to disseminate for free - is marvellous. I have not tried the mentoring, courses, funds, or any of the paid resources - but all these years, WSO has been a staple in my reading diet.

As mentioned at greater depth in my previous review, couldn't recommend this product enough. It was pivotal in helping me break in to Investment Banking coming from a non-target school with minimal relevant experience.

This course is fantastic. It cuts straight to the point and gives you practical hands-on training from the first module on. I was able to do the course over the weekend and apply my new skills in the office the next Monday. I would recommend this course to anyone interesting in developing a strong foundation in excel.

Useful place for finance professionals, or aspiring ones. Lots of room for finance discussion and interview questions. WSO is the primary place for finance professionals to discuss a wide range of related topics, and to learn more.

The course allows for deep understanding of excel. Unlike other courses/quick guides/ tutorials that can make you feel lost, this course takes a structured approach: it starts off with basic but essential concepts and finishes with more complex formulas for financial analysis. With this approach, this course has allowed me to learn the tool in a clear and comprehensive way, with the opportunity to practice also with relevant exercises.
