When I was studying finance in university, I turned to WSO to learn more about the financial services industry and career opportunities. I work as an associate in a commercial banking group and am happy where I am and all that I've learned through the wealth of information and resources found on the Wall Street Oasis website and forum discussions. There are some experienced senior users who provide tremendous insight to users with their wide array of questions about the industry. The app is okay, but can crash/automatically log you out sometimes. I browse the forums on a day-by-day basis for new content.

Worth choosing a mentor carefully I would advise someone who has identifiable experience in your desired field. Also worth knowing what exactly you would like to get out of the conversation.
