Great website, initially was a resource for career advice/direction and helped me quite a bit. I'm now at the point where I no longer need WSO (for the most part) for guidance w/respect to my career, but I've remained a near-daily reader and still mix it up in the comments a bit. Overall WSO is a great resource and discussion forum which has staying power and is superior to similar alternatives (like a few subreddits or forums that focus on certain professional degrees).

Just wanted to let you know that this week I secured a position in Deal Advisory at KPMG! This is a big step for me as I was finally able to break in.

The course distills complex accounting principles into a streamlined modeling framework. It teaches how to link the income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow with surgical accuracy—turning raw data into decision-grade insights. Forecasting isn’t guesswork here. It’s driver-based, grounded in historical trends and industry context. The course teaches how to think—how a change in working capital, for example, ripples through free cash flow and valuation. This is decision-making, not data entry.

Investment banking resumes have to be nearly perfect in order to even get into the door. Working with my reviewer from WSO, we went from a general, stripped-down, task-based resume into an in-depth, investment banking focused, accomplished based resume all in the span of two days. I can't thank him enough for his solid work.

The pros is that all the information that the instructor covered was extremely relevant and useful in my preparation for investment banking interviews. The instructor was extremely friendly and well spoken. I enjoyed the Bootcamp throughly.
