MMmonkeyi thought it was clear that 'remember the titans' was his i'm-out post

Not sure I took it that way - he could just be on hiatus while he markets his book...hopefully.

he actually started posting mini-stories as "news" in the module above the remember the titans post for a little while and then stopped.

no clue.

We're about to enter a Great Depression. Don't you want a president who's already dressed for it?

------------ I'm making it up as I go along.

Yep, seems the domain is expired :(

ladubs111Re-read that book. Think it was called: Damn It's Good to Be a Banker.
honestly, not as good as the site ever was.
"After you work on Wall Street it’s a choice, would you rather work at McDonalds or on the sell-side? I would choose McDonalds over the sell-side.” - David Tepper

The book is good, but I agree that the site was better. I liked the Murray Hill series...

"That dude is so haole, he don't even have any breath left."

jonx8262Has LSO been outed? Why hasn't his site been updated in the past year?

no, he was never really "outed" because i don't think he was ever really concerned about preserving his anonymity.

i think he decided he would write a book instead: Damn it Feels Good to Be a Banker.

why he stopped? not sure, because he was definitely talented. maybe he just got sick of it.

I understand what he's going for but that flimsy book is not worth more than 2 dollars IMO. You can get the gist just by flipping through the pages. The fact that he is not even a banker is a bit sad and I would much rather prefer satire from someone who had experience in the business.

I love the elitism in this quote so much. I'm just so glad that you see working in finance as a prerequisite to being humorous. LSO would be so proud.

God I wish that he would start posting again. I always looked forward to his new entries. Definitely hilarious, especially the blog entries that he started at the tail end of the site. The $14 Ghana stimulus plan still gives me a good laugh.

Cheer up, Bateman. What's the matter? No shiatsu this morning?
