Received interview through alumni connections and on campus recruiting process. These events are important as AMEX sources heavily from its six core target schools. First round was on campus and consists of two back-to-back 45 minute interviews. Second round is held in the NYC office. Same as first, with two 45 minute interviews. Between interviews you sit in a conference room with other employees and job candidates. This is billed as an informal chat, but I think it is another way to see if you fit in with the culture. After the interviews all the interns have lunch with the group before heading home. Heard back with decision about 1 week later.
