Associate Consultant

I filled out the application from the company's online website. I go to a target school so I checked the box for my school and waited to hear if I would be invited back for an interview. The mainly care about hard stats, so my high GPA and high GMAT got me a call back for an interview despite having basically non-existent extra curriculars.

First round was two 30 minute case interviews, each with a different consultant right out of business school at an on-campus recruitment location. Both interviews were fairly straight-forward.

Second round they flew me up to San Francisco. The interview was three 40 minute case interviews, two with managers and one with a principal. 90% case and 10% fit.

I thought I did incredibly well, even cracking one case in less than 20 minutes, so I was pretty let down when I didn't get a call back. In hindsight, I did make two math errors with a manager so that could have done it.
