Senior Associate Consultant

I obtained this interview via networking with a senior partner.
It was the first round, consisted of 2 case interviews and one fit interview. Fit was with Associate Principal, Cases with HR Manager and Case Team Leader. Cases adressed some datasheets from cases interviewers worked on. First one was with two graphs, the objective function was to asses if a part of portfolio of businesses is worth keeping (from which you had to deduce that it has to grow more than inflation and economy), second was about market entry. I was told that reason for the decline was not enough speed in testing different hypotheses and an error in business judgement (I did not deduced that if a company looks for an attractive growth country, and attractive growth is double digits, and Europe has economy with single digit growth driven by big markets like Germany, the only countries to look into is Poland, Ukraine etc.). Also, there was imminent lack of chemistry with my third interviewer (HR manager), who also have this case. And in the first round, one has to get anonimously 3 "yeses".
