Simply put, as a company gets more reviews, the confidence of a "true score" increases so it is pulled closer to its simple average and away from the average of the entire dataset.

Interview
Applied through the website. The first round consisted on a phone interview, mainly fit questions. The second round, I met in-person with the team and went through all the technicals you can find in this site. Last round was with a partner and mainly to check the culture and personality. Overall, the process was positive and learnt a lot. No brainteasers, mostly IB old-school type questions. I would recommend though that they prepare better questions, cuz asking the same thing year after year make nerds look smart.. So it's a matter of what you really want to test and how, not that you are going to ask the same things that were asked to you.

Spoke with a recruiter over the phone then set up interview with MD for around 1 hour about a week later.
Interview Questions
No technical questions asked, more fit based. Was asked to talk about my resume and experiences and what I was expecting from the role. Was also. Gauged on my interest for the role and interest for the bank as a wole. Would honestly describe the interview as a free flowing conversation rather than getting peppered with questions. I cant speak for all rotational interviews but it definitely seemed fit based. Also was asked about computer skills such as excel bloomberg vba and macros. Overall lretty relaxed.

Interview
Interviews were exclusively 1 on 1 with at least 10 different people. During the first round interviews were made by analysts and were mostly technical. Second-round interviews were done by associates and they were even more technical. Third and final round interviews were conducted by VPs and MDs which focused deeply in your fit with the firm and IB culture.
Interview Questions
actually were those technical questions based on group tests which consisted in developing an in place business case of a valuation of a company with a group of people and delivering a pitch all of this in a range of one hour. it was difficult since the financial information provided it was quite tricky in order to give complexity to the exercise, because they were looking more for the team work and the answer delivered, than the actual amount of numbers given during the pitch. Also they were looking for people that could come out of hard situations without losing the calm and focus., actually were those technical questions based on group tests which consisted in developing an in place business case of a valuation of a company with a group of people and delivering a pitch all of this in a range of one hour. it was difficult since the financial information provided it was quite tricky in order to give complexity to the exercise, because they were looking more for the team work and the answer delivered, than the actual amount of numbers given during the pitch. Interview
First you apply online on their website. If selected to interview, you get a phone interview with a junior member of the team i.e. analyst or associate. Mostly fit and some technical questions as well. If you make it to the second round, then you interview in the NY office with 3-4 MDs head of groups which are mostly fit questions, but sometimes they will throw one or two technical questions depending the MDs you are interviewing with. Once they have agreed to hire you, the offer letter should be out to you within a week. If you accept the offer, then you have to go through a background check and drug test. No relocation bonus or signing bonus.
Interview Questions
Why do you want to work for BBVA, specifically this group? do your research / due diligence before going into the interview. They really want to know that you want to work in that specific group. It's okay to be general about BBVA, but make sure to ask great questions about the group if you are not sure/clear.
How many soccer balls are sold in Spain on any given year? - this one threw me off. Best way to tackle a question like this is by making assumptions. They just want to know your thought process. i.e. assuming there are x amount of ppl in Spain, and assuming there are y amount of kids age x-z who are the primary target for soccer balls in spain, then we can assume that X balls times Y amount of kids = amount of soccer balls sold in Spain.
