Applied on company website and received an email for a first round interview. First round was over the phone and consisted of 50% technicals and 50% general fit/background questions. R2 was a video call a week later and mostly behavioral/background/fit and a few easy to moderate technicals at the end. R3 was two seperate video calls with senior team members. These interviews were entirely fit/background based. Everyone throughout the process was nice and great to chat with. They also kept the ball moving relatively quick throughout the interview process.

Interview
I got a phone interview. It was one of my first investment banking interviews and I was not ready for what to expect so I did poorly but it was a very basic phone screen with light technicals.
Interview Questions
None were unexpected just basic financial statement and valuation questions. Why BlackArch, why banking.

Interview
Networked with them for summer analyst roles in the past, and ended up getting a first round for FT 2025 recruiting. First round was with a 1st year analyst I actually knew because we were mutuals and he was an alum at my university but hadn't really talked with a lot. It consisted of easy technicals, but was more focused on the behavioral aspect (ie. why black arch? why IB?, etc.). Definitely your more traditional southern SEC/ACC boutique IB, but the guys I spoke with were really nice and super chill.
Interview Questions
Most difficult question for 1R was behavioral questions about fit. Would highly recommend to network beforehand.

Interview
Pretty basic stuff, first my interviewer shared his background and asked me to tell him about myself. The basic why IB question, and then some fit questions like what trait do you think makes a good investment banker. After these, we did technical questions like walk me through the 3 financial statements and how does $10 of depreciation flow through the balance sheet. We also briefly touched over different valuation methods. This was all done over a phone call with an analyst who was an alumni from my university.
Interview Questions
How does $10 of depreciation flow through the balance sheet. Not a hard question I was just unprepared for it.

Applied on their site. Interviews consisted of 3 1-on-1 rounds with employees of increasing seniority followed by an in person reception and superday in Charlotte. Light technicals in each round. Superday was 12 interviews with 2 employees in each -- some technical / brain teaser but mostly fit interviews. 4 offers given for 20 attendees.

Office culture seemed great -- really enjoyed every person I met. They definitely like to grow carefully and place a premium on fitting in with the Southern culture.
