Trading and Supply Chain Grad

First round was a hirevue behavioral, exactly what you would expect. Second was a zoom case interview with a trader, if you can do simple addition you should be fine. Final round was a superday in the Houston office. In the morning we did an individual then a group case study, neither was very hard. Networking at lunch then a jet fuel trading sim in the afternoon, medium difficulty relative to other trade shops I interviewed at. Overall a good place but couldn't stand the constant DEI bullshit, expected better from an oil company. Normally I wouldn't even bring that up but at BP is was so over the top with the constant weeping and wailing about how guilty they feel for Deepwater Horizon that it got on my nerves just in that day. Take it with a grain of salt because that was mostly the HR people, didn't hear any of it from the traders, but it's very much a part of their culture there. Something else that bothered me was they work 1-2 days remote... how are learning to be a trader if you're not on the trade floor? Great job, great shop, but the culture was a bit weird.
