Did a 1-1 zoom call with the head of the office. Then was called back to do an in-person interview with their head of business development and head of client service (spoke with each of them separately same day). Then was called back a few weeks later for another in person interview in their office with four people separately. Some were in senior roles and some were analysts. Then I got a call from their internal recruiter saying I got the job and had to undergo a background check before picking a start date. Background check consists of veryifying prior employment, drug test, submitting fingerprints, credit score check to see if you're a reliable person, pretty sure that's it. Since I was interviewing for an entry role the interviews were straight forward (why WM, asking about client service experience, do you follow the markets, what do you know about BBH, why BBH, etc).
Interview Questions
I was undergoing a career change so they asked me a couple questions about investment products but it was very broad and easy to navigate. Other than that like I said it was pretty straight forward. I think what they liked the most about me was that I was familiar with the industry and that I knew what I wanted out of my career where most people don't have a clue (And that's okay if you don't, but try to have an idea).

I applied online and was contacted via email to schedule a first-round interview. The scheduling process was straightforward and handled over email. The interview was conducted virtually and lasted about 30–45 minutes.
I was honestly surprised by how technical the interview was, especially given the nature of the role. I expected a more general behavioral and high-level market discussion, but the interviewer dove quickly into niche asset management questions, including portfolio construction, risk considerations, and specific modeling concepts. There was a strong emphasis on technical depth.
The interviewer also focused heavily on a modeling bootcamp listed on my résumé. He asked detailed follow-up questions on concepts covered there and pushed on specific technical details. At one point, when I hesitated on a concept, he pointed out that it had been less than a year since I completed the program and implied I should have remembered it more precisely. The tone felt somewhat cold and direct, and the questioning style was more grilling than conversational.
That said, it may have partly come down to interview dynamics. In hindsight, I could have been more concise and confident in framing what I did and didn’t know rather than hesitating. It was definitely a reminder that if you list something technical on your résumé—especially something like a modeling bootcamp—you need to be prepared to defend it thoroughly and at a granular level.
Overall, the process seemed technically rigorous and detail-oriented. For future candidates, I would recommend reviewing niche asset management concepts in depth, revisiting anything technical on your résumé, and being prepared for a more intense, direct questioning style than you might expect.

I applied for the position online and then was contacted for a phone screen. In this time, I spoke with a few members of the firm from connections I was able to source through LinkedIn. I was invited to a first round interview which was virtual (similar to HireVue). There was the ability to go back and redo answers which was not the same across other firms. Questions were standard behavioral/leadership/experience. Nothing crazy. Would recommend prepping key points you want to touch on for all of these before heading into the HireVue stage. Did not make it past the first round but overall had pleasant experience and thought the people were nice.
Interview Questions
The most difficult question asked was a specific time I had shown leadership experience - had prepped experiences ahead of time but felt hard to narrow down to just one. Feel that if you prepped well ahead of time and had your answers nailed down would be a better experience for you.
