Interview
After completing the GRDP Supply Chain (also referred to as Operations) program I was given a list of positions to interview for. I chose to apply for 11 positions of which we were limited to accepting 4 potential jobs to interview for.

The interview for the Business Development Analyst role consisted of a group interview with HR and the hiring manager. Upon completion of the interviews I ranked the jobs based on preference and was matched with the hiring manager for the Business Development role as he had me listed as his #1 choice.
Interview Questions
Q1.) What is a sensitivity analysis?

A1.) A sensitivity analysis is performed to see what impact on Earnings per Share (EPS) has given an acquisition or investment. For example, if we are looking to acquire another company we would model the sensitivity to EPS the transaction would have. If EPS has a positive impact it is considered accretive. If EPS is negatively impacted it is considered dilute.
Q2.) I was given a case study on a potential acquisition and asked to come up with three questions I would ask the CEO of the company I was looking to acquire.
Q3.) How would you develop an investment thesis?

A3.) Start with a macro-level outlook and drill down. For example if looking at Oil and Gas equipment I would look at the different sectors (Upstream, Downstream, and Midstream) and drill down to the product portfolio and see how it would complement or supplement existing equipment being offered to customers.

Interview Questions
The questions were typical questions regarding walking through your resume. The hardest part was the presentation where you should be yourself and not take it too seriously.

It was a very relaxed 1-on-1 interview. The guy that interviewed me said he was a former IBer.

Apparently, they call you about a second round dinner in Houston if they like you.
Interview Questions
Only remotely technical question he asked me was what I would look for to value the public company I currently intern for. ie, PV of discounted future CF.
