Please describe the interview / hiring process.
Applied online and had to go through standard online tests (same as UBS) aiming to assess numeracy.
After that was invited to an assessment centre which consisted of a newspaper exercise during which I had to choose 3 articles from an FT they handed me and elaborate on what I think about it and how it's connected to Citi's business (ideally IB). There was also an HR interview with standard situational behavior questions as well as a presentation of a business case (wasnt corporate finance related).
After that, I was invited for a paper LBO and met the team (analyst to team head). Received the offer a day later.
Overall i would say it was a process of average difficulty. The paper LBO was incredibly fair and more a mental maths test and to see if you understand the basic concept
