Please describe the interview / hiring process.
I received a first round interview a day after being referred by a campus recruiter. The first round interviewer consisted of two back-to-back phone calls, one with an associate and one with an analyst. First was entirely behavioral and immediately turned into a normal conversation, the second had a few technical questions and then became behavioral. After the calls I got invited to Superday, which consisted of three interviews. The first interview was all behavioral, mostly why Citigroup and walk me through your resume and deal experience, the second was explicitly technical (all of them were very simple and were pretty much ripped from the 400Qs guide: What is the accounting equation? What what is working capital? What happens to the three statements when you depreciate and asset? What makes a good LBO candidate? Why would a company want to acquire another company and what makes a good target) and the third was briefly behavioral and then became a casual conversation.
