Commodities Analyst

Submitted my application on Handshake and received an interview invite after 1-2 months. The interviewer is an analyst that worked in the department as a summer intern the year before he joined as a full-time. Very friendly and conversational. My preparation for this interview was not sufficient and I don't have a deep understanding of the commodities market, so when he asked questions about predictions of crude oil I can't think of specific events that will impact the price. I would recommend future interviewees to follow the market closely in order to better prepare for the questions. It's not technical, but it definitely takes time and effort.
