Please describe the interview / hiring process.
I had been contacted by a student that had previously interned with Citi in Houston about the potential opportunity. He shared my resume and I was contacted for a 30 minute phone call with a 2nd year analyst, followed by a 10 minute phone call with a director. Both were very fit based with the first having a few basic technical questions. I was recommended to superday where I had 7 different interviews, 5 of which were 1 on 1 with analysts and associates and two that were with two more senior bankers (VP's and MD's). One of the 7 interviews was strictly techincal bit nothing too crazy. The others were resume and fit based. I felt very confident about the interviews, since they all went really well, but was surprised when I was not extended an offer.
