Phone Interview
Please describe the interview / hiring process.
The recruiting process consists of two rounds of phone interviews. Both are made by people on the trading floor. Interviews are very technical. Prepare your resume well cuz in the first part, interviewer would ask you to walk him though your resume and he would make followup questions based on you self-introduction. In the second part, it is all about technical/market questions. Do you know VaR? Do you trade stocks? What's your trading philosophy? What's your view on the Fed's monetary policy? How about Europe? How about Japan?
