Investment Banking Associate

Standard super day hiring process.
I was not at a target school, so I had to do quite a bit of of cold calling/e-mailing before I reached an MD who happened to be in charge of hiring for this particular position on the FIG team.
He was nice enough to accept me call request, and asked me a few technical questions in our initial conversation, along with fit ones(to a lesser degree).
He then had someone from his team, an Associate, call me the following week to conduct a more conventional phone screening with all the usual questions. This must have gone well, as I was invited to interview in person. Five one on one interviews, with Associates, VP's and one MD.
