Investment Banking Summer Analyst - Generalist

Began with diversity program in February 2021, consisted of ~6-8 weeks of interview prep that ended in a mock interview over the phone (I believe this mock interview plays a role in determining whether or not you actually get a first round interview). After the program was over, I was invited to interview through OCR with the rest of school (including non-diversity). Had a 30 minute first-round via Zoom with an MD and a Second-Year Analyst that consisted of both behavioral and technical interview questions (nothing about LBOs but just about everything else was covered in some degree or another), then advanced to a Superday which took place the next week. The superday was 3 back-to-back 30 minute interviews via Zoom : one behavioral, one technical, one "leadership-based" (very behavioral). I began networking with the company in the Fall of 2020 and continued until I was invited for a first round interview. The alumni from my school at the bank were really helpful with interview prep and also helped to mock interview me in preparation. I definitely recommend reading the 400 IB Qs guide and if you understand all of the big concepts covered in those questions, you are more than good to go! :)
