Please describe the interview / hiring process.
The first round interview was a phone interview of about 20 minutes. It started with background questions and moved on to a couple of fairly easy math/probability and programming questions.
The on-site interview consists of eight separate 30 minute interviews as part of a complete eight hour day. One of the interviews is a math test, another is a programming test, and the rest had a mix of math/programming/markets knowledge/brainteaser questions, as well as questions about past experience.
You can still get hired if one or two of the interviews don't go great. I think the people there are great, and the culture is hard-working, but not unreasonable.
